虽然目前国内的很多体育赛事取消了，包括F1比赛。同时奥委会也在接触WHO，但是奥委会表示
For now, however, the International Olympic Committee position is clear: there is absolutely no chance the Games, which are due to start in late July, will be postponed despite the growing global health emergency. 即使目前的国际卫生形势严峻，奥委会目前立场也很坚定，绝不会推迟七月份的东京奥运会。

"Certainly the advice we've received externally from the WHO [World Health Organization] is that there's no case for any contingency plans or canceling the games or moving the games," IOC inspection team head John Coates said during the news conference, CBS Sports reported.
Coates also claimed he is "100% confident" that the Olympic games will continue as scheduled. 与卫报的口径类似，IOS表示了没有紧急预案也没有计划取消奥运会，并且有100%按时召开奥运会的信心。
不过东京奥运会的CEO还是表达了强烈的担忧。
However, CEO of the Tokyo Olympics Toshiro Muto said on February 4 at a meeting with International Paralympic Committee officials that he was "seriously worried" about the impact the coronavirus could have on the "momentum towards the games,"the Associated Press reported.

至于奥运会会不会延期，日本人有着严谨的计划表，肯定会按照步骤进行。至于，病毒在日程表之外的事情，日本人应该就管不了了吧
虽然这两天新闻一直都在播报疫情，但是讨论仍然只停留在网络上。经过上一轮中国人的抢购之后，防护物资供应非常紧张，口罩以及消杀用品早就已经是稀缺品了，市区的店铺里基本看不到了，部分商店已经打出了消杀用品只能购买一件的牌子。而亚马逊上之前被炒到天价的口罩这两天也被买空了，昨晚本来想买一个3M的防毒面具以防万一，结果也售空了，最后入手了一个GVS P100的防毒面具，在日本的同学有需要可以入手，这个品牌目前货源比较充足，价格也还没被炒上去。
